WORLD IN BRIEF : ROMANIA : 2 Killed, Dozens Hurt in Earthquake

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake rocked western Romania, killing at least two people and injuring more than 30, officials said. Buildings swayed and cracks opened up in houses in Timisoara, a city of 300,000 close to the epicenter. The quake was also felt in Bulgaria and Hungary.
