Clio Boss Lashes Out: Nearly one month after the financial fiasco that resulted in the cancellation of the Clio Awards show in New York, Bill Evans, president of the Clio organization, says three former Clio executives tried to “take over the Clio operation.” In a statement, Evans said a former publicist and two senior Clio executives tried to take advantage of the firm’s financial problems and wrestle control away from him of the advertising awards. The former executives could not be reached for comment.
