SCEcorp: Second-quarter income for the parent of Southern California Edison Co. rose 14% from the year-ago period to $167 million, as revenue edged up 7% to $1.7 billion. The Rosemead-based company cited awards for favorable coal and nuclear plant performance, as well as higher revenue associated with additional investment in utility plants.
