The Senate on Thursday gave NASA more than $2 billion toward its space station. The $80.9-billion bill, including funds for veterans, housing and space, is about $1.2 billion less than President Bush had asked for and $50 million more than the House voted. Committees from the two houses now will negotiate to settle the differences. The spending bill passed on a voice vote.
