** Lynyrd Skynyrd 1991, “Lynyrd Skynyrd 1991,” Atlantic. Since the 1977 plane crash that killed two Lynyrd Skynyrd members, the survivors have put out assorted albums under various names--but none as good as those ‘70s albums of knock-your-socks-off Southern rock ‘n’ roll featuring vocals by the late Ronnie Van Zant. The first full-fledged band album since ’77 is a disappointment too, full of polished but tame pop-rock. Lead singer Johnnie Van Zant is a pale shadow of brother Ronnie.
