A ‘Major’ Move: Describing it as “a major career move for me,” Philip Westin, impresario of the South Bay Center for the Arts at El Camino College, has accepted the post of vice president for instruction at Golden West College in Huntington Beach. Westin, who leaves as El Camino’s dean of fine arts and executive director of the South Bay Center on July 31, says his departure has nothing to do with budget cuts at El Camino. The cuts will reduce the number of concerts at the facility to 70-75 events for 1991-92, down from 116 last season.
