Sierra Madre : $11.3-Million Budget OKd

Share

The City Council on Tuesday approved an $11.3-million budget that includes a $1.2-million deficit because of 39 proposed capital improvements projects that may not all be completed this fiscal year.

The projects will come up for individual approval by the council later in the year, and some probably will be eliminated, City Administrator James E. McRea said.

To avoid going into the red as the year progresses, council members voted to require monthly project progress reports and expenditure tallies.
