Don’t Develop Jordan Ranch
Swapping public parkland for a development should not be allowed, no matter what the bribe is--even if the bribe is that private land already zoned for open space is to become public land also zoned for no building. The point is the Jordan Ranch land should remain open space and not become developed.
The natural greenbelt is healthy for our psyches as we become more populated at the expense of nature. I don’t care if the greenbelt is accessible to me as a public park. I just need to see it to know where the San Fernando Valley ends.
