Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will be subpoenaed to testify before a grand jury investigating allegations that he raped an 18-year-old woman, according to a Marion County prosecutor in Indianapolis. As the target of the investigation, however, Tyson will not be obliged to tell his story to the six-member panel, prosecutor Jeffrey Modisett said.
The woman says she was raped by Tyson at the Canterbury Hotel in downtown Indianapolis at about 1:30 a.m. July 19. No charges have been filed.
