World Trade Talks Expected to Run Into ‘92: Stalled world trade talks are unlikely to finish this year despite a push for progress by leaders of the major industrial nations, U.S. Trade Representative Carla Anderson Hills said in Budapest, Hungary. Dismantling the complex web of farm subsidies and supports remains the biggest stumbling block to breaking the logjam, said Hills, who was visiting Hungary to discuss improving bilateral trade links.
