Choice and At Large

Having previously enjoyed Tony Perry’s “San Diego At Large” column, I was dismayed at the anti-choice piece on July 31.

Men have no right to demand women bear accidental children. Dean Mesa should devote his energies toward abused children who are already born and cease trying to prevent a woman from doing what is right for her--even if it is canceling a pregnancy. Overpopulation is the major problem in the world today.
