Now Hear This: KFI radio has dropped Joe Crummey from its evening lineup and replaced him with longtime news anchor Barbara Whitesides, who will host a daily 7-9 p.m. talk show. Whitesides has been a reporter with the station for eight years. Station officials said Crummey was terminated because of low ratings. Laura Schlessinger’s show will move up an hour and run from 9 p.m. to midnight. KFI also has named former news director David G. Hall as program director and Mark Austin Thomas as news director.
