Altadena : Loud-Party Dispute Settled

Share

Hostilities between residents of a quiet neighborhood on the north end of town and Michael Jones, who has held frequent parties at his mansion on North Lake Avenue, apparently have eased.

After a meeting between the two sides, Jones agreed to lower the volume on the amplified music emanating from the back yard of his two-acre home, said Sheriff’s Deputy Ron Spelic. Jones also gave neighbors his home telephone number to call if they are disturbed, Spelic said.

The dispute culminated last month when deputies broke up a late-night party at the Jones residence after numerous calls from neighbors. Recent parties have not drawn complaints, Spelic said.
