Chris Miller passed for four touchdowns, three to Michael Haynes, to make Jerry Glanville’s return to the Astrodome a successful one as the Atlanta Falcons beat the Houston Oilers, 36-7, Friday night.

Glanville, who coached the Oilers four years before becoming head coach at Atlanta last season, was escorted onto the field by six uniformed officers and four aides before the game.

Haynes caught five passes for 225 yards and scored on plays of 57, 67 and 34 yards as the Falcons won their second consecutive exhibition game.

Miller completed 10 of 20 passes for 274 yards. He also connected with Haynes on a 60-yard pass play early in the fourth quarter.
