Kitchell Contractors, Irvine, landed the general contractor’s spot on a $10-million laboratory at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena. . . . Sheldon Good & Co., Chicago, which says it is the nation’s largest real estate auction company, opened a Southern California regional office in Newport Beach. . . . Lakeview Real Estate Co. and Bronson Properties merged their investment property divisions into a new company based in Mission Viejo, PacVest, that will specialize in the sale and purchase of income properties. . . . Engineering firm EQE’s Costa Mesa office will design and engineer a new 2,200-bed, $195-million prison in the Northern California town of Susanville.
