Fair Well Worth the Day’s Fare

I took advantage of the senior citizens’ free day at the San Fernando Valley Fair and it was really a pleasure. It would be hard to choose what I enjoyed the most--the free miniature circus, pig races, home art pavilion, or the Harry James sound by a big band.

The animals on display made for a great overall country feeling. There was a good selection of all types of food at the standard fair prices. My favorite was corn on the cob, along with the fresh fruit selection.
