On the Road

I enjoyed being on the road with Martha and Sara (“On the Road to Tahoe With Martha and Sara,” July 21). But I was surprised by one omission on their adventure. They watched fireworks at Zephyr Cove and did not notice the MS Dixie.

The MS Dixie is a cruise ship docked at Zephyr Cove and it is a pleasant lake excursion. There are brunch and dinner (sunset) cruises, as well as afternoon cruises to Emerald Bay and Vikingsholm Castle. Most important, the cruise narration is informative and the boat staff is friendly and courteous. I recommend the MS Dixie cruise to Martha and Sara on their next hair-raising adventure at Lake Tahoe.
