GTE California has given a $10,000 grant to the Orange County High School of the Arts to support an artist-teacher program that brings artists to the school to work with students. It is the corporation’s first gift to the school. Additionally, the Costa Mesa-based Orange County Community Foundation has awarded the school $5,000 for its new arts-for-adolescents-at-risk program which helps support talented art students.
