Air Traffic Reported Still Normal in Moscow

WASHINGTON —
Commercial air traffic in and out of Moscow continued normally Monday despite the turmoil surrounding the ouster of Soviet President Mikhail S. Gorbachev, travel industry representatives said.
“At this point in time it appears to be unaffected,” said Richard Livingstone of the International Airline Passengers Assn. “My understanding is that there is political turmoil, but there isn’t really any physical turmoil.”
