Preston Talks Back: Recently arrested soul singer Billy Preston defended himself on Howard Stern’s radio show Tuesday morning on KLSX (97.1 FM). Preston, who was arrested Sunday for investigation of sexual assault on a 16-year-old boy in Malibu, told Stern in his first interview since being released on bail, “It was a total misunderstanding. The kid just panicked; the kid ran and just told a bunch of lies that I had knocked him down. We’re going to fight this thing.” Preston said he had hired an attorney.
