World IN BRIEF : ROMANIA : Gunmen Wound India Ambassador

India’s ambassador to Romania was slightly wounded in an attack by four men in Bucharest, the state news agency Rompres said. Ambassador Julio Francis Ribeiro was struck in the leg by a bullet but was reported in good condition at a hospital, the Indian Embassy said. One of the assailants was shot to death by police, another was wounded, a third arrested and the fourth escaped, Rompres reported. There were no claims of responsibility for the attack.
