American Health Services Corp.: The Newport Beach operator of diagnostic treatment centers reported that net income for the second quarter declined to $188,898, or 1 cent per share, from $445,644, or 3 cents per share, for the second quarter a year ago. Revenue increased 31%, to $10.6 million from $8.1 million. For the first half, net income was down from the 1990 period, to $263,122, or 1 cent per share, from $771,152, or 6 cents per share. Revenue rose 34%, to $20.8 million from $15.5 million.
