Motorcyclist Killed in Crash With Van

A 20-year-old Lancaster man died Thursday when his motorcycle crashed into a van in the Antelope Valley, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The motorcyclist, whose name was not released pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at Lancaster Community Hospital, deputies said. He was headed south on 10th Street West at Avenue J-14 in Lancaster at 4 p.m. when he struck a van that was turning left onto 10th Street West, said Deputy Ed Grantham.
