Once again, the filth of big-time politics is laid out before our eyes. But what makes this scenario particularly nauseating is that everyone involved has slime on his shoes. All that is left is for the lawyers to bend and twist and manipulate the events in a way best suited to their clients. Although many Americans are stoics and remain unfazed by our government’s standard operating procedure, this is the kind of truth that destroys idealism.
