Diamond Partners Take on De Beers: Canadian nickel giant Inco Ltd. and America’s largest diamond cutter, Lazare Kaplan International Inc., said they will develop a diamond mine in Ghana that will compete with the world’s biggest diamond producer, De Beers Consolidated Mines Ltd. of South Africa.
