Steve Goldman has been named president of the domestic television division of Paramount Pictures, succeeding Lucie Salhany, who became president of 20th Century Fox’s 20th Television division in June.

Goldman, who had been executive vice president of the division since 1989, will oversee Paramount’s syndicated TV activities, including first-run and off-network projects, feature film packages and advertiser sales. He will also be in charge of the TVX Broadcast group, which consists of six independent stations.
