Order in the Court: The Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio, plus the Courtroom Television Network, plan gavel-to-gavel coverage of the confirmation hearings for the nomination of Judge Clarence Thomas to the U.S. Supreme Court. The hearings before the Senate Judiciary Committee are scheduled to begin Sept. 10 and are expected to run eight days. KCET Channel 28 will broadcast the sessions on a three-hour tape delay, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
