GARDEN GROVE : Police Seek Clues in Fatal Shooting
Police on Thursday were searching for the assailants in the fatal shooting late Wednesday night of a 19-year-old man at a Garden Grove restaurant and bar.
The victim, a Santa Ana resident who was not identified pending notification of relatives, died at UCI Medical Center in Orange an hour after the 11:51 p.m. shooting, Garden Grove Police Lt. Chuck Gibbs said.
Police officers who responded to a report of shots fired at Mi Ranchito Restaurant, 13187 Harbor Blvd., found the victim on the floor in the bar area with gunshot wounds in the chest and abdomen, Gibbs said.
