A lawsuit filed in Pontiac, Mich., on behalf of two racetrack workers, one of whom was killed in a track accident, claims Championship Auto Racing Teams Inc. was negligent when it set up a race course in British Columbia.

The estate of Jean Patrick Hien and Bradley Weeks and his wife, Kelley Weeks, also filed suit against race-car owner Raynor Sports Group Inc. and driver Willy T. Ribbs.

The suit says Hien and Weeks were working at the Vancouver race Sept. 2, 1990, moving a stalled car off the track when Ribbs ran into the car, killing Hien and seriously injuring Weeks.
