Micheal Ray Richardson’s eight-year battle with cocaine has taken another wrong turn with his release from Knorr Bologna of the Italian League.
Knorr Bologna said Richardson, 35, a four-time NBA All-Star banned from the league in 1986 for cocaine use, tested positive for cocaine when he returned from the United States last week, and that it was breaking his contract.
