SIMI VALLEY : Lottery Winnings Remain Unclaimed
A California State lottery ticket worth $107,730 that was purchased in Simi Valley as part of Saturday night’s “Lotto 6-53” game still has not been turned in, a lottery official said.
According to state lottery official Toni Downing, a ticket bought at Market Time mini-mart at 3998 Cochran St. had five of the six numbers picked for the twice-weekly game.
As of Friday nobody had claimed the prize, Downing said. Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes before the money is forfeited to the state education fund.
The holder of the winning ticket splits a prize pool of $538,650 with four other ticket holders who bought their tickets in Monterey, Chula Vista, Westminster and Auburn, Downing said.
The winning numbers picked Saturday were 6, 14, 24, 32, 41, 48, and the bonus number, 8.
