Soviet Official Accepts Invitation to Visit Japan

TOKYO —
The acting chairman of the Russian Supreme Soviet will visit Japan on Monday at the invitation of Japan’s ruling Liberal Democratic Party, the party said Friday.
Ruslan Imranovich Khasbulatov will be the first major Russian or Soviet leader to visit since the failed coup, the LDP said Friday.
