As Manager: Career record of 1,281-1,125, with Texas in 1973, the Angels in 1974 (four games in an interim role), Kansas City from 1975-79 and St. Louis from 1980-1990. Won division titles from 1976-78 with Royals, and took National League titles in ‘82, ’85 and ’87 with Cardinals. Won a World Series championship in 1982.
