* Choose tulips, daffodils, crocus and other bulbs for planting next month.
* Plant cool season vegetables: broccoli, spinach, cauliflower and cabbage. Also, plant onion sets, garden peas, garlic, carrots and beets.
* Feed roses and water deeply for beautiful autumn blooms.
