Malibu : Repaving of PCH to Start

Work is scheduled to begin next week on a $1.6-million project to resurface part of Pacific Coast Highway between Los Flores Canyon Road and Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Malibu, Caltrans officials said.
During construction, traffic may be restricted to one lane in each direction between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, Caltrans spokeswoman Margie Tiritilli said.
Caltrans officials have expressed hope that, weather permitting, the work might be finished by late November.
