KCET controversy: The Times has received 198 letters so far on Cardinal Roger Mahony’s outrage at KCET for showing the film “Stop the Church,” which chronicles an ACT UP demonstration at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York; 140 letters supported KCET’s decision to air the film, while 58 agreed with Mahony.
