Bush Selects Ambassador

WASHINGTON —
President Bush will nominate Robert S. Pastorino, a career Foreign Service officer, as ambassador to the Dominican Republic, the White House announced Thursday. Pastorino, 51, is deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. He would succeed Paul D. Taylor.
