Forwards Martin Rucinsky and Josef Beranek did not accompany Czechoslovakia’s national team home from the Canada Cup and apparently will join the Edmonton Oilers.
Rucinsky was the Oilers’ first-round draft choice last year, and Beranek was their No. 3 pick.
