An Older Connors Is Still Childish

I am truly amazed that most of the television commentators and sportswriters allowed themselves to be bamboozled by the antics of Jimmy Connors at the recent U.S. Open tennis tournament.

I read somewhere that during his time off last year Connors took his family to France to absorb some European culture. It’s a shame some of the right stuff didn’t rub off on him. He is a poor example to our young people and all tennis players.

Jimmy Connors is the original con man and the sooner he retires, the better.
