Edward James Olmos for Governor?
Olmos portrays compassionate roles on the screen, and his work with gangs in the L.A. area is widely known, but he has also given opportunities.
He and the movie production company Sally Perle and Associates made employment in his film “American Me” possible for a number of homeless men in our community. With the money earned they were able to purchase proper attire and bus passes to seek employment.
So please let me publicly thank Olmos on behalf of these men, many of whom have since secured permanent employment or housing.
