California IN BRIEF : SACRAMENTO : Safety Flaws Found in Airport Shuttles

State inspectors say they were surprised at the number of serious violations they found when they made a surprise inspection of shuttles and taxicabs at Sacramento Metropolitan Airport. Inspectors from the Public Utilities Commission and Highway Patrol looked at 44 vehicles and cited 30. Three vans and three cabs were taken out of service and one van was towed because of bad brakes.
