Pearl Harbor Duty: In his first TV project since he retired from the U.S. Army in August, Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf will co-host a CBS News special on the 50th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Schwarzkopf will join Charles Kuralt to anchor the two-hour news special Dec. 7. “I wanted to participate in this program from the moment I first heard about it because I so firmly believe in the importance of this occasion,” Schwarzkopf said. The CBS program will combine live reporting from Honolulu with eyewitness accounts, photographs and film footage.
