CAMARILLO : Trade Fair Features 75 Local Businesses
The Camarillo Chamber of Commerce’s 17th annual Trade and Job Fair will be held today and Sunday in the Unisys parking lot, 5151 Camino Ruiz, in Camarillo. About 75 local businesses will be represented at the event.
“It’s a real benefit to our members to get them out of their stores and in front of the public,” said Evie Bystrom-Herrera, executive director of the chamber. “It brings everyone together.”
About 12,000 to 15,000 people are expected to attend the fair, Bystrom-Herrera said.
“Many of the businesses are service-oriented,” she said. “The fair is a good way for people to get information about them.”
In addition to the informational booths, there will be food booths and entertainment, including singing, dancing and a karate demonstration. Job placement agencies will provide information about their services.
The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday. Admission is free.
