Counterfeit 50,000-Peso Bills Surface in Mexico

CHETUMAL, Mexico — Banking officials say counterfeit 50,000-peso notes have been appearing in this Caribbean city.
They said six of the bogus bills worth about $17 each have been discovered, the newspaper Excelsior said.
