COLLEGE FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : UCLA : Fullback Smith Suffers Knee Injury

Fullback Kevin Smith suffered a sprained ligament in his left knee during Wednesday’s practice and is sidelined indefinitely. With Smith inactive, Kaleaph Carter, more of a blocking-type fullback, will start against San Diego State next Thursday night in San Diego, backed up by Maury Toy.
