Patriots, Lend Him Your Ears

I note with interest the letters from super-patriots demeaning those of us who are daily tortured by 15 or more hours of constant aircraft noise from El Toro Marine Corps Air Base.
Why are they always from people living in Santa Ana, Newport Beach and other areas who can’t possibly know how this constant noise affects the 21,000 retired people of Leisure World in Laguna Hills, who are directly under the flight path?
I’ll match my patriotism against any of them any day, as long as I can keep my sanity.
