Roseanne’s Revelation: Roseanne Arnold said publicly for the first time that her parents sexually abused her when she was growing up in Salt Lake City and that incest caused her to consider suicide. “My name is Roseanne, and I’m an incest survivor, and this is the first time I’ve ever spoken about this with anyone other than my group, my husband and my children,” she said in a speech to a group of incest survivors in Denver on Saturday. Arnold said she began to remember what happened only recently, and she decided to go public after former Miss America Marilyn Van Derber Atler disclosed that she was molested as a child.
