Israeli Firm Expands: Magic Software Enterprises, an Israeli computer software company, said Monday that it is opening a U.S. headquarters in Irvine as part of an expansion of its marketing operations.
Al Frank, former president of Novell Inc. subsidiary Indisy Software, will serve as president of the unit.
Frank said the office would have a dozen employees initially and could grow to 30 to 40 people.
Magic Software’s products are used by software developers to create complex database applications.
