Curtis A. Bower, 43, has been appointed senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of The Parsons Corp.

Bower is responsible for all financial operations of the Pasadena-based engineering and construction concern, including its domestic and international subsidiaries.

Bower joins Parsons after 10 years with Allied-Signal Aerospace Co. in Morristown, N.J. During the past two years he served as group controller at the firm’s Torrance office. In this position, he was responsible for the financial control of eight divisions with revenue totaling $1.5 billion.
