JERUSALEM —
A 67-year-old Jew was stabbed to death Thursday in apparent revenge for the Israeli police killing of 17 Arabs on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount last year, authorities said.
Shlomo Yehia was killed at Moshav Kadima, north of Tel Aviv. Pictures of Temple Mount, site of Islam’s third-holiest shrine, were scattered nearby, a police spokesman said.
The Temple Mount killings last Oct. 8 prompted a series of Palestinian stabbings of Jews in Israel.
